Governance

A company limited by guarantee under the Companies Act, 2013, governed by its board of directors. The names of the foundation's directors are on the public register maintained by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, searchable by the CIN above.

What we do not have

Plenty of organisations list only what flatters them. Here is the other half:

No 80G registration. The foundation holds 12A, which exempts its own income from tax. 80G is a separate registration and is what would let you claim a deduction — so please do not assume a donation to ReadoBook is tax-deductible. If 80G is granted, the certificate number will appear on this page.
No Form CSR-1 registration. A company cannot currently book a contribution to ReadoBook against its CSR obligation under section 135. More on the CSR funding page.
No impact statistics yet. We would rather publish nothing than a number we cannot trace to a record.
No partner or award logos. We do not display badges we have not earned.
No annual report published yet. Statutory filings are made to the Registrar of Companies and are publicly searchable; a plain-language report will be published here when it is ready.
